Peter Greene writes:
Casetta Vaccai Show: [...] Like the nomad weaving paradise - water, gardens, flowers - into carpets in the empty desert using the simplest materials to hand, Bruno seeks to knot his dreams into fantastic works using materials - ash, raw terracotta, bamboo, PVC - with the childlike enthusiasm of a jackdaw. But, unlike the jackdaw, it is not just the surface glitter of these materials that attracts him, but also their symbolic resonance. In these bellicose times, his pieces using lead weigh heavily on the soul.
[...] In this exhibition Marcucci invites us to join him as passing companions on his travels. A journey of just a few metres down a narrow corridor in the earth below La Casetta Vaccai, but also a limitless odyssey into the raw depths of his creative mind, sometimes exhilarating, sometimes nightmarish.
